Smoking Mirror
An Acrostic Poem for the International Library of Poetry

The golden clouds
Halo the setting sun
In a divine aura
Shining gloriously,

Ineffably, like visible effluvia
Streaming, aflame, from the

Aztec Holiness of God.

His enormous stench
Utterly invades the atmosphere,
Gagging men and beasts with gassy
Emanations, vapid vapors of a

Sacred nature,
Causing rivers to run the other way,
Alarm clocks to go off prematurely, and
Mutagenic episodes.
